Stainless Steel 316Ti Foils are composed primarily of iron, with significant amounts of chromium (16-18%), nickel (10-14%), and titanium (0.5-1%), along with small amounts of molybdenum (2-3%) to enhance corrosion resistance. The titanium addition improves the material’s resistance to sensitization and enhances its weldability. The mechanical properties of 316Ti foils include excellent strength, typically with a yield strength of 205 MPa and tensile strength of around 515 MPa. These foils are known for high corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride environments, and maintain good formability and toughness at elevated temperatures.
