Inconel 600 Channels are made basically of nickel, chromium, and iron, offering a good balance of corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. The chemical composition of the alloy includes about 72% nickel, 14–17% chromium, and 6–10% iron, with smaller quantities of carbon, manganese, and silicon. These channels possess very good mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, exceptionally good creep resistance, and stability over a wide range of temperatures. For this reason, their excellent oxidation behavior and non-magnetic properties can be employed under severe conditions.
